Sam was a wild fox born in the Old Town Quarry, Weston super Mare. She was one of a litter of five, all the other foxes eventually obeyed their instincts and moved on to different territories but Sam decided to stay in the quarry. She very quickly had four cubs of her own (even adopting an orphaned cub in that first year) she then made a den in the woods but still came back to her food supply every evening, eventually bringing her second set of cubs with her!
