Birdsong & Binoculars at the Quarry

Join us for a relaxed and friendly morning of birdwatching at the Old Town Quarry, where nature, community, and curiosity come together.

Whether you’re a seasoned spotter or simply enjoy the sound of birdsong, this informal session is the perfect way to slow down and connect with the wildlife around you. Guided by our passionate volunteers—who bring years of experience and a genuine love for local birdlife—you’ll have the chance to discover the species that call the quarry home, learn how to identify them, and pick up a few tips along the way.

Expect engaging conversations, plenty of opportunities to ask questions, and those quiet, special moments that only nature can offer.

No pressure, no prior knowledge needed—just bring your curiosity (and binoculars if you have them!).
